T2 W5 Reading

 This week we were learning about Samoan language week. We had to label a picture on a google drawing and we also had to do a word search. 

Do you like learning new languages? Do you know any Samoan language?

Mediterranean Balsamic Salad

 INGREDIENTS

500 grams tomatoes

2 coloured capsicums (colours of your own choice)

1 cucumber

½ cup olive oil

¼ cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons sugar

Wash and dry all your vegetables.

Chop the tomatoes into quarters.

Cut and remove the seeds from the capsicums and chop into bite size pieces.

Slice the cucumber lengthwise then cut in half and chop into 2cm size chunks.

In a large bowl mix olive oil, balsamic vinegar and sugar.  Whisk for a few seconds.  Place all the chopped vegetables into the bowl and gently mix together.

My planet writing T1 W6

 My Planet

I looked outside the window of the spaceship.

There’s sparkly stars and a big bright moon,

I was almost there! I was almost on a planet I created 2 years ago today!

The last time I visited the planet, I remember the light blue and the purple, and the shiny white ring around it.

The stars shined above me.

I couldn't believe I was almost home.

Term 1 Week 6 Reading

This week we were learning about planets. 

My favourite part about this weeks reading work is that we got to create our 

own planets.
